The Institute for Social Inventions - promotes and disseminates good ideas to improve society around the world, and encourages public participation in the creative problem-solving process. To this end, it publishes an annual compendium of the year's best ideas, gives annual innovation awards and runs the popular Global Ideas Bank website.
The Natural Death Centre - offers advice and information on alternative funerals, natural burial, biodegradable coffins, DIY funerals, private land burial, Advance Directives, etc, and educates on the subject of death, dying, funerals, and bereavement with workshops, seminars and an annual Day of the Dead (in April). The Poetry Challenge - provides information and resources (sponsor forms, certificates, etc) to schools and other organisations wishing to hold a Poetry Challenge: where participants are sponsored to learn poems by heart to raise money for the charity of their choice.
